11 Books In March 2024!
Move over January, eleven books read in a month is my new reading record. I read so many wonderful, delightful books this month. My favorite book will always happen to be whatever the thumbnail icon is, so you guessed it, book number twenty-one of 2024 was my favorite read this month. It is called Here For It: the Good, the Bad, and the Queso written by two long distance female friends Amy Weatherly and Jess Johnston. It talks all about friendship and gives so much great advice. It doesn’t shy away from how hard keeping and cultivating friendships can be. Keeping in touch with people is hard and as you get older it can be hard to find strong bonds and connections with others, especially when you’re in different phases of life. I’m lucky to be friends with those who have similar interests and are in a similar life phase to me. The book also emphasizes loneliness and how at certain times in their lives the authors have had no one to call a friend. Loneliness has become more of an epidemic today with social media making us feel lonelier than ever so I was happy they brought to light this issue that needs more attention.
